Hey there, welcome to my corner of the digital world. I’m Amit Kumar Malik — a cloud & AI technology strategist, architect, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building high-scale software platforms that bridge business outcomes and engineering excellence. \
I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Spektra Systems, where I lead our product vision, go-to-market strategy, engineering execution, and organizational scaling across multiple global product lines. I was the first employee at Spektra and have been part of its journey since day zero, helping shape its product DNA, team culture, and global presence. My work involves delivering solutions that eliminate friction in cloud adoption, cloud marketplaces, and technical education through automation, AI, and platform thinking.
What I Build and Lead
At Spektra, we focus on building impactful SaaS platforms that are deeply integrated with public cloud ecosystems like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. We serve ISVs, enterprise customers, and educational institutions across more than 30 countries. I’m responsible for aligning our product portfolio with market needs while ensuring operational excellence and innovation at scale.
- SaaSify – Our Cloud Marketplace GTM and Operations platform helps software vendors launch and manage listings across Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace in under 2–4 weeks without dedicated engineering teams. SaaSify has powered over $3B in cloud marketplace transactions. I led the platform’s evolution from concept to multi-cloud infrastructure, designed the CRM and ERP integration layer, and introduced SaaSify Agent — an AI-driven assistant for automating onboarding, pricing, and go-live operations.
- CloudLabs – Our platform for hands-on cloud labs at scale. CloudLabs supports technical skilling, instructor-led trainings, proof-of-concepts, test drives, and hackathons with instant, scalable cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP. It has delivered over 5 million lab hours and trained more than 1 million learners globally. I also led the design and launch of CloudLabs AI, which uses AI to assist lab creation, dynamic guide generation, and in-lab learner support. CloudLabs is a Microsoft-recommended partner and powers Databricks University Alliance lab infrastructure across education institutions globally.
- CSP Control Center (C3) – A Microsoft CSP automation suite that helps Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and distributors manage the entire lifecycle of Microsoft cloud reselling — including provisioning, billing, invoicing, and compliance. I envisioned the architecture of C3, mapped it to Microsoft’s Partner Center APIs, and scaled it into a platform used globally by CSPs across Europe, APAC, and North America.
Strategic Programs and Partnerships
I led various strategic skilling programs and readiness platforms for Microsoft such as the Azure Expert Assessment, which provides a structured onboarding to Azure cloud adoption; the Azure Connected Learning Experience (ACLE), a personalized cloud learning journey endorsed by Microsoft; and global hackathons, GTM programs, and university alliance labs with Databricks and other leading ISVs.
My Journey
I began my career at Wipro Ltd, where I led enterprise private cloud architecture for telecom and government clients across India. I then joined Microsoft India R&D as a Technical Consultant, specializing in Azure Cloud and data center with focus on automation & DevOps for large enterprise clients. In 2016, I joined Spektra Systems as its first employee and helped build it into a 300+ person global SaaS company serving 500+ clients, including Fortune 500 companies and top-tier universities.
Education
I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science and completed an Executive Management Postgraduate Program from IIT Delhi, which helped me refine my approach to product strategy, leadership, and scaling technology ventures with business discipline.

Beyond Tech
Outside of technology, I am deeply passionate about travel and high-altitude trekking. I’ve led over 1000 individuals across Himalayan peaks as a Trek Leader with Plan the Unplanned. Helping others overcome fear and build resilience in the outdoors has been as fulfilling as any product launch.
In addition to my professional and outdoor pursuits, I actively engage with educational institutions to help students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I have collaborated with faculty at multiple universities to deliver cloud bootcamps, guest lectures, and career mentorship sessions. My goal is to help the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs understand modern cloud ecosystems, build hands-on skills, and navigate their path into tech careers with clarity and confidence.
