After years on Windows, I finally switched to a Mac — and the one little thing I genuinely missed was the Bing Wallpaper app. Every morning it quietly gave me a beautiful new desktop, and macOS just didn’t have a simple equivalent. So I built my own.
It’s called Daily Frame: a tiny menu bar app that sets a fresh wallpaper every day from Bing’s Image of the Day (or Unsplash, if you prefer). No Dock icon, no clutter — just a new view each morning, with Previous / Next / Change whenever you feel like switching it up. It’s free and open source.

It’s a small project — ad-hoc signed, so right-click → Open the first time — and the code is on GitHub if you’d like to peek or contribute.
